law firm recognized for its excellence in serving clients across the Americas is seeking an experienced Billing Manager for its National Financial Services Department.
The ideal candidate will be based in one of our locations in Orlando, Ft.
Lauderdale, Miami, West Palm, or Chicago.
Reporting directly to the Director of Billing, this pivotal role involves collaborative management of the firm's billing operations, overseeing a team of dedicated Billing Specialists.
Responsibilities Include:
Mastery in comprehending and implementing client billing guidelines in coordination with Billing Specialists for seamless setup and adherence.
Proficiency in navigating electronic billing processes to streamline operations effectively as a Billing Manager.
Providing clear direction and task allocation to Billing Specialists, monitoring workload and work quality, and ensuring adherence to firm policies and procedures.
Spearheading the identification, establishment, and execution of comprehensive training programs to foster skill development within the Billing Manager's team.
As a Billing Manager, We offer prompt assistance and resolution for billing-related issues or inquiries from team members, attorneys, or clients.
Orchestrating efforts to ensure seamless coverage for absences, including developing robust contingency plans overseen by the Billing Manager.
Requirements And
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a legal billing environment, with a preference for experience in a large law firm setting for a Billing Manager role.
A Billing Manager must be proficient in working with software systems such as Elite Enterprise, 3E, eBilling Hub, Paperless Proforma, or similar platforms.
Demonstrated leadership and managerial prowess, solid organizational acumen and keen attention to detail are crucial for a Billing Manager's role.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all organizational levels with vendors and clients, as expected of a Billing Manager.
